Last night was the first round of the NFL Draft which for the beleaguered fanbase of the NY Football Giants, injected a sense of optimism for the first time in a while (no where near as long as Jets fans have been suffering). This week in equity markets there is also a newfound sense of optimism for the first time in what feels like an eternity but is really only a couple of months. Tying this back to sports fandom, akin to the Chiefs fanbase after losing the Super Bowl. However, the week definitely didn’t start that way.
