Salvation Army

The Salvation Army, founded in 1865 in London, England, operates in 133 countries around the globe. As the largest provider of social services and second largest provider of disaster relief in the United States, they serve more than 30 million people annually across the country. In the greater New York area, The Salvation Army fights poverty and homelessness by serving millions of meals every year through soup kitchens, food pantries, and street outreach teams, housing hundreds of adults and children every night across three shelters, supporting child development with free childcare, after-school programs, and music and arts classes, keeping seniors active through specialized seniors centers, supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse with residential substance abuse support, and providing emotional and spiritual support through 38 community and worship centers.

USMC Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots, a 76-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness, and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season. Toys for Tots also provides support year-round to less fortunate families experiencing challenges and exceptional circumstances, thus sending a message of hope beyond the holiday season. Last year, the Marine Toys for Tots Program fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.4 million less fortunate children in over 800 communities nationwide. Since 1947, over 272 million have been assisted.

NYSE-Listed Company Charitable Highlights

This year the NYSE asked listed companies to share their efforts to help those in need and raise awareness for the many important organizations supported by the NYSE Community. Each company and charitable organization is honored with commemorative custom ornaments that will hang on the holiday trees in front our entrance until the end of the year.

Thank you to our charitable organizations participating in this year’s event!
